well the current trike thing is going well
was approched to help sell and vw and robin relient trikes the robin reliant was a no no and also the chap was asking for too much for it and so he is getting someone else to sell it for him ( thank god) the vw trike is a different matter it look really good and all and I got to get the pics tomorrow and then design the selling pitch document should do well as the person it belongs to has some grounding in reality in my researches on the type and prices I came across a few which were really nice and I has got me thinking about purchasing one saw some which really impressed me here is a pic of one which was really my style

both of these images were from a US trike company called http://www.ratraceproductions.com/
my birthday was on saturday
we went to the south bank and viewed the galleries over there (not the tate modern, Have already been there recently and besides it gets too busy at the weekend) my favourite was the barge gallery, just behind the oxo building a very good collection of modern art One of my friends sister has a instalation inside and was one of the reasons to go
afterwards we postpone our trip to see v for vendetta until sunday lindy was not feeling very well but she was a lot better the next day V for Vendetta was surprisingly good I am not one who really listens to critics as sometimes their viewpoint and tastes is too narrow and quite pomposte I liked some of the re-writes, upadting the classic graphic novel from a 80s thatcherite point of view to a post blairist/ george bush world the overall message and story is still the same and it was also well casted (even though I still have some reserves over natalie portman She seems to be trying too hard , to appear as a "REAL" actress She doesn't relax until over half-way in the film The real point for me is how easliy this could still happen especially in a world where c list celebs are more inportant than real life events across the globe (the new strongbow advert taps into this point as well lol) so until the revolution.... don't surrender!! never give up stand up for what you believe in!! Be yourself!!! |

well the charity work is progressing very well we were very slow after christmas but now myself and several of my members are really keen on what we can create here We have been to so many meetings, courses etc including a course on PR (SPIN lol) this has confirmed my suspicions on how the media REALLY works and also proved to be very useful to boot I've also joined a gym finally been going every other day so far and it is really great apart from getting me back to a healthy state and pro active, it also has improved my confidence and focus would recomend this to anyone/everyone because of all this I have now made time of other stuff as well recently I finally got rid of an old fridge freezer which my parents gave to me it hasn't worked for years but what a difference this has made I'm also gonna have another go at throwing away more stuff that i do not want or need been also attending a buddhist group, which even though I'm not a follower of their sect, it has proved to be really helpful as well meeting new and refreshing company and opinions would love to go to a gig not been out in that way for years now and I do miss it
been to a friends gig which was in notting hill it was for a launch for a chopper bike /road movie that was fun and had couple of hotrods and a few custom bikes inculded music, company, drinks, film was all good would like to go to the hotrod meeting at ace cafe well in love with that sort of vehicle oh well one day..... until next time c u around, soakin in the moon raysCurrent Mood: amused Current Music: net radio a drum and bass station

well it's been a while i wrote anything so here goes Since coming back I've started to apply for work in the state, particular in north cali this is still an ongoing project and a long term goal In the meantime I have carried on with my idea but about 2 months ago I had a chance encounter I went with lindy to a basic Photoshop course in the Caledonian road area This was quite a good course for her and I was quite curious how it was being presented I ended up helping out the lecturer by show the table I was on how to do certain procedures etc I found this to be of great fun and help, also it kept my teaching skills fresh Because of the help I gave, one of the students was a artist and we had a brief conversation about what I wanted to achieve and she suggested to me to set my project as a charity She then invited Lindy and I back to her studio nearby and proceed to show me the option available Now this took my project from being a possible to being actual Since then I have now got about 11 members and in the process of completing the plan and producing a audit trail If everything goes according to schedule I should have it up and running in 6 months I am very please with this I must say I am also now a life coach and mentor for culture arts navigator program It seems most people I encounter have only strengthen me in this field and has become more than a career change but an actual calling funny how life goes oh well until laterCurrent Mood: blessed Current Music: hanzel urd gretyl

 | You scored as A Slave To BDSM. Admit it, you like being tied up and being told you've been very naughty. You like teasing your partner and making them squirm, and not letting them be able to do anything about it. Some people think what you do is sick and disgusting, but you know it's all in good fun.

| » final part of my journey to the US for my sister's funeral |
this is well long overdue the final part of my journey got a few minutes spare so here I go This final week was quite different from the others by this time most of my relatives had gone My mother had to suddenly go back as well due to problems back in Jamaica She manage to get a flight on the sunday following the cremation (2 days later) but this was a 6am most of saturday was to ferry family members back to the airport so my mothers was the last one until I was due to go I booked her flight on-line (well cool that feature I must admit .. did with all my family members and myself and tom as well) then we prepared for the early rising about 1pm the electricity suddenly went off (a power cut) which did not come on until 3:30am so finally went back to sleep then woke up shortly around 4:30am to take my mother to the airport (must be there before the flight around 2 hrs but a I had already booked her in on-line we could get to the airport a bit later) after our goodbyes tom and I went back for sleep
tom had to later that morning to go cycling (100 miles 10,000 feet) some sort of race then he has to go to washington in place of my sister on monday to lobby congress on behalf of the lance armstrong foundation (this is to lobby funds to provide reasonable cancer care for those who are too poor to afford it in the us) he was gone for most of the week for this while he went cycling I was picked up and taken hiking by Rebecca and her husband Doug up by where they live Rebecca is a clairvoyant and works from home (spritual healing and ryki)while looking after their daughter Doug works in the biotech industry they were very nice and I understood why my sister were great friends after a bit of lunch we went hiking the scenery around their area was mainly redwood forest with rolling hills and valleys off to the coast with the mist rolling in from the pacific made it a bit chilly but after a bit of hiking this was not a problem the main road which they live off is well known to bikers who does the century run this is to do a 100 miles in 1 hour of course this means a minimum of 100mph on this winding road and their have been quite a few fatalities as well as arrests especially at the weekends while out Doug warned me about mountain lions and how to deal with them when encountered (make a lot of noise and wave my arms about to make an impression I am bigger than them) while out we came across a mule without a rider So i went to see if I could find the rider in case (s)he were hurt I came across a cowboy who was looking for the mule If seems that it ran away from a restaurant up the road After reuniting him with his mule , I took a few pics

| » second update |
well sorry for not posting anything sooner it has been very busy here so what has gone on ok... first was the private viewing this was very emotional tom's parents and his brother's family and his mother's brother and daughter were there as well as the brit contingent she looked very peaceful i must say she was buried in her bridal gown and my mother had arranged an Anglican church funeral the priest was called chip and tom told me he was also gay my sister would of liked that as it has a sort of ironic twist to the proceeding nothing is really normal out in the bay area (thank god) chip was also very open minded to other religious practices which I found quite refreshing there was a little bit of tension but all this was smoothed out in the end then comes the actual funeral now I found out that I was to be a Pall bearer and also to read a transcript including one I wrote this I had not expected When we arrived at the church met more of tom & max's friends about 30 at that time by the time the whole thing stared the church was full It turned out that my sister had a major impact on the whole bio tech industry about over a 100 people turned up It looked like the bay area biotech industry had taken today off for my sister's funeral I was in awe of my sister work and effect on the people she did us all proud as a footnote her neighbours attended as well as a post op tran-gender who looked like terrance stamp in "Priscilla" once the whole funeral was finished we directed everyone to the celebration of max's life while she went off to be cremated and we went to change (anyone wearing a tie was gonna get it snipped)
the celebration was really good thanks to you guys for making it happen had a lot of conversations with them all and gave advice /inspiration/and consonance this was a very big test but I think I did ok my mother was being a right trooper was well as tom both were doing fine my cousin winston and las were quite merry and were making fun of our host's (peter: very big in the biotech industry and a millionaire) music collection and saying that they can take all comers on the pool table I bonded with peter's kids as well as bob's daughter they were telling me about how education at their schools were different they were good kids overall this was a good day
wednesday was shopping in redwood city and we also went to stanford uni took some pics tom's mother's brother and daughter had to leave on this day which we went and dropped them off and said goodbye on thursday tom's brother and his family went back as well dropped them off in the afternoon then just chilled
friday was the day to get the ashes and intern it in a crypt within a mausoleum Tom and my mother decided to split the ashes some to go to Jamaica some to come back to Tom's home and placed on their alter but most was in the crypt this was another emotional period but went smoothly (again led my father chip) after this was completed we head down to a nice place tom knows of at the coast it is called half moon bay now any hitchcock fans would know that this is the name of the place in the birds but this bay was not the one filmed they just used to name this was very nice and pleasant and quite old american seems to be mainly an artisan quarter but fun then we headed down to the distillery this place was meant to be haunted(some tragic romance triangle) and was also a speakeasy during Prohibition food was good and the view of the pacific was breathtaking also just before we left I went down to take more pics and came across 3 raccoons so got a good pic of them as well (someone had left food out and they were raiding the remains) then we went home
well that's this part done for now will do some more later until then this is greg signing out bye from sunny California

ok this is day 1 log of my time in San Francisco for my sister's funeral We flew out of Heathrow Airport on a direct flight my uncle Lass and I got a lift to the airport from cousin Paul while Elaine and Winston were coming down from Leichester due to me forgetting my suit which we had to go back for we missed getting the best seats the flight had a bit of a rough take-off but after that the flight was smooth overall
flight had changed quite a bit since I last used it You now have on virgin atlantic your individual screen like you find in cars plus instead of 1 movie choice you have about a dozen I watched "Hotel Ruwanda", "A Life Aquatic" and "Football Factory" all these were very good films and i will hopefully get "A Life Aquatic" and "Football Factory" on DVD in the future service was excellent but the seating was far too cramped the centre seats should only be 3 wide and every 5 rows removed and the extra space should be used to improve overall comfort and reduce injury the flight was 9 1/2 hours we landed about 13:30 local time (8 hours difference from the uk) customs have got a bit more stricter but was overall ok tom picked up up with his dad riding shotgun His and my sister's place was wonderful they live on the outskirts of Redwood City a small city outside San Francisico the scenery and the overall ambiance was beautiful and very calming tom and I did a few errands and them settle down for real nice juicy steaks I must admit these were best I ever tasted (had mine medium) I also got told the rough schedule of the next few days events bought some shampoo and my mother will be helping me to re-twist the new growth on my dreads all is well if a bit crowded the "brit contingent are staying in tom's house as well at a neighbours place who were kind to put us up this I am very much obliged until the next update take care all greg

| » maxine betina seales yonker : epitaph |
Well in a state of shock here at the moment my sister maxine has died I am still waiting on info on how this happened as I spoke to her on friday and she seemed to be doing fine don't really know what else to say atm but she will be missed by me my family, her husband and his family and many others who has met her She had great spirit and strong will she fought her condition as if she as some sort of battle-maiden She never really believe that nothing was impossible and everything was attainable She became the top in her field of biochemistry in a very short space of time My sister did make a difference to the world I will try to live up to her goals and make things better and with less fear As brother and sister we had laughed together played, fought with and against each other but in the end she was my sister and I loved her and I will miss her light in this world The only good thing about death is that she is now away from this world of pain and human pettiness and self inflicted misery She is above all that now She is now part of the wheel Maxine I salute you Brother Greg

| » a brief rundown of recent events |
well been a bit busy recently first off got several systems to diagnose which one of them may also lead to more networking with new people I love a challenge need to write a proposal for a possible patron for my project of youth rehabilitation and training this needs to be completed by next week It has to be a 2 page proposal included are my skills and experience and which ones are appropriate and can also be crossed over this is really exciting for me as it can lead to bigger and better things
had to play a tornie on sunday this went quite well but technology has moved on again this means i need to upgrade to a new marker the one I'm looking at is the intimidator alias (timmy alias) with the infamous board installed this should be around the £600 mark got given one to use and it made a great difference to my game and it is sooo much lighter and flexible as well also the current situation of the team got discussed and I'm still considering what to do seems like a split may occur
got a dinner party to attend but this will include the person who let me down recently gonna play it by air and be shallow something that I find quite hard to do I sense there is a bit of meddling going on here as she was not mentioned as attending until today I hate this sort of manipulation don't need this sort of stuff in life as it is too short to be bothered with such trivial nonsense
